- What brand of paint/type of sealant do you use on your shoes?
I prefer to keep the specifics and this type of information under wraps.
- How much does a pair of shoes cost?
A pair of custom shoes are $200 + shipping. That includes the shoes (retail about $60), my time (10-12 hours) per pair, and my materials which are high quality waterproof paints. I also coat the shoes in a sealant which acts as a dirt/water repellent, keeping the shoes looking cleaner, longer.
- How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is $15 to Canada and $20 to the United States. I ship all items via Expedited Parcel, which takes about 7 business days.
- Do you ship internationally?
Yes! Shipping is $65 to everywhere other than Canada or the US. For international orders, I ship via ExpressPost which takes approximately 4 business days.
- Are your custom shoes really one-of-a-kind?
Each custom order is completely unique to you. You’ll never see a pair of shoes that are exactly alike or even similar to yours. I rarely replicate shoes I’ve done in the past because I get tired of painting the exact same design over and over again.
- Do you only paint on Vans?
Nope, I can paint on any canvas shoes, suede, leather, etc. You can send me a pair of your shoes to paint on too! I charge $140 for the artwork + return shipping.
- How long do they take?
Once I purchase your shoes it takes about two to four weeks depending on how many orders I have. When I’m finished painting the shoes and I’ve received the complete payment for them, I’ll ship them out to you. So it would take about four weeks for you to receive your custom shoes.
- I can’t decide what I want on my customs, what should I do?
Feel free to send me an email at aleo126100@hotmail.com, and I can definately help you think of ideas. If they’re for you or if they’re a gift for someone, think about your/their favourite bands, movies, hobbies, or interests. I can paint just about anything on your pair of customs, let your imagination go wild!
- Are the shoes waterproof?
Yes, they are. They are waterproof and resist dirt because of the sealant I use to protect them. If you take good care of the shoes, they should last as long as the shoes themselves do. If you have any problems, please don’t hesitate to contact me.
- If I get my shoes dirty, how should I clean them?
I do not recommend you put them into the washing machine, but rather spot clean them gently with soap and water.
